Letter to the parents for the month of Falgun 2082

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Warm greetings from Fishtail Academy.

We hope you and your family are in good health. We would like to share some important updates and highlights of our major activities conducted this academic year, along with information regarding the upcoming examinations.

1. Annual Sports Meet 2082

We successfully conducted our Annual Sports Meet 2082 with enthusiastic participation from students of all classes and houses. Students actively took part in various sporting events including football, race, relay, shot put, swimming, basketball, and many more. We appreciate the excitement, sportsmanship, and teamwork shown by our students throughout the event.

2. Educational Tour 2082

Our educational tour for this year was an enriching experience for the students. They explored various parts of Nepal, including Kushma (The Cliff), Mustang, and Sauraha, Chitwan. The trip helped students learn about diverse cultures, food, lifestyle, geography, and adventure activities, adding practical exposure to their classroom learning.

3. Participation in External Sports Events

We are proud to share that our Middle and High School students have been actively participating in different inter-school sports competitions organized by JP Cross, ANFA, Rastrapati Cup and HISSAN. These platforms have provided students valuable exposure and helped them enhance their skills, confidence, and competitive spirit.

4. LitArt Fest 2082

Grade 6 & 7 students brought learning to life through captivating storytelling and autobiographies, creative Scratch programming projects, soulful musical performances, energetic dances, and inspiring upcycling art—celebrating creativity, expression, and innovation in every form.

5. PYP Block Class Day

The PYP Block Class Day celebrated student voice and meaningful learning, with Grades 2, 3, and 4 presenting the theme “Care for Our Planet: Action, Voice, Impact” through drama, song, and dance, reflecting their understanding of environmental responsibility. In the same spirit, the Pre-Primary and Grade 1 Class Day, “With Our Beloved Parents,” beautifully showcased students’ confidence and creativity, strengthened by active parental participation.

6. Terminal Examinations and Result Publication

The Third Terminal Examination for Grades Nursery to Grade 10 and the Second Terminal Examination for Grades XI and XII have been successfully concluded. We are pleased to inform you that the results were published on 13th Magh. We sincerely appreciate the cooperation of parents and guardians throughout the examination period and encourage you to continue supporting your children based on their academic progress and feedback.

7. Saraswati Puja & Pre-School Open House

We gracefully celebrated Saraswati Puja with devotion and enthusiasm through Puja, Aarati, Tika, blessings, and Prasad, fostering a spiritually enriching environment for our students. Alongside this, the Pre-School Open House and Aksharambha Ceremony were conducted successfully.

During the event, students confidently showcased their talents through singing, dance, poem recitations, and a student panel discussion. Parents had the opportunity to visit classrooms, interact with teachers, explore the school environment, and learn more about our academic approach. We were delighted to welcome new families, resulting in new enrollments, making the event both meaningful and rewarding.

As we near the conclusion of this academic session, we strongly encourage students, with the support of their parents, to focus on their academic preparation, keeping in mind that the BLE, SEE, and SLC examinations are scheduled for Chaitra and Baishakh.
