Letter to the parents for the month of Shrawan 2083

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Warm greetings from Fishtail Academy.

We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health and high spirits. As we welcome the month of Shrawan, we are delighted to share the highlights of the past month and inform you about the important events and upcoming programs at Fishtail Academy.

1. Freshman Social for Grade 11

Our Grade 11 students enthusiastically participated in the Freshman Social held on 19th Ashadh 2083. The event provided an excellent opportunity for students to interact, build new friendships, and begin their higher secondary journey in a vibrant and welcoming environment.

2. Successful Completion of the First Terminal Examination

The First Terminal Examination was successfully conducted from 17th to 25th Ashadh 2083. We sincerely appreciate the dedication of our students, the unwavering support of our parents, and the commitment of our teachers in ensuring the smooth conduct of the examinations. The assessment process has been completed, and the results will be shared during the Student–Parent–Teacher Conference.

3. Student–Parent–Teacher Conference (SPTC)

The Student–Parent–Teacher Conference (SPTC) is scheduled for 3rd Shrawan 2083. This conference provides a valuable opportunity for students, parents, and teachers to discuss academic progress, celebrate achievements, and collaboratively identify areas for further growth and improvement.

4. Participation in Ellevate Nepal 2026

We are proud to share that our students represented Fishtail Academy at Ellevate Nepal 2026, organized by The British School, Kathmandu. This prestigious event provided students with opportunities to exchange ideas, collaborate with peers from different schools, and enhance their leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills through engaging learning experiences.

5. Paddy Plantation Program

As part of our commitment to experiential and environmental learning, students enthusiastically participated in the Paddy Plantation Program on 15th Ashadh 2083. This hands-on activity allowed students to appreciate the importance of agriculture, teamwork, environmental stewardship, and Nepal's rich cultural heritage while learning beyond the classroom.

6. Karate Belt Test – Strength, Discipline, and Confidence

Our Grade 4–7 students proudly demonstrated their dedication, technique, and perseverance during the Karate Belt Test held at Fishtail Academy. Each performance reflected months of consistent practice and determination as students showcased their skills to earn promotion to the next belt level.

At Fishtail Academy, Karate is a mandatory life skill that empowers every student with discipline, self-confidence, respect, resilience, and the courage to face challenges. We congratulate all our young karatekas on their outstanding achievement and encourage them to continue striving for excellence both inside and outside the dojo.

7. Bhanu Jayanti Literature Week

To commemorate the birth anniversary of Adikavi Bhanubhakta Acharya, Fishtail Academy celebrated Bhanu Jayanti Literature Week from 29th Ashadh to 1st Shrawan. Students enthusiastically participated in various literary activities, including poetry recitation, storytelling, creative writing, and language-based competitions, fostering a deeper appreciation for Nepali language, literature, and culture.

8. Upcoming: Fishtail Model United Nations (Fishtail MUN)

We are excited to announce that Fishtail Model United Nations (Fishtail MUN) will be held from 21st to 23rd August. This flagship academic event will bring together young delegates to deliberate on global issues while developing essential 21st-century skills such as leadership, diplomacy, public speaking, negotiation, research, and critical thinking. We encourage eligible students to participate wholeheartedly in this enriching learning experience.

9. Attendance, Discipline, and Parent Support

We kindly request all parents to continue encouraging regular attendance, punctuality, disciplined study habits, and active participation in both academic and co-curricular activities. Your continued guidance, encouragement, and collaboration play an invaluable role in your child's academic success and holistic development.
